Charles & Marie

While a few brands are clearly better than most, the founder of Charles & Marie were tired of seeing the streets filled with store fronts that make each place we visit seem like dull clones of every other. They adore beauty, originality, invention and genius - qualities that are rarely found in any one brand or chain. Charles & Marie never seem to have enough time in the day, they are always looking for new experiences and better technology, and they have noticed that no one seems to be willing to offer a strong opinion. It's all become "instant" and "nice" but we need it better than that! Given their desire for up and coming design and their keen interest to support designers from all over the world, Charles & Marie has evolved over the past months to be much more than the online presence that we envisioned it to be in late 2005. What started with Charles & Marie at the end of 2005 is now an international operation that is headed by two industry experts: Marcus Greinke, ex global creative director for the leading global brand consultancy Enterprise IG is making sure the operations in the US run smoothly, whilst Claus Krogmann, ex Vitra country CEO is head over heels involved in growing the European market. Alongside them is a team of fabulous scouts and writers who actively push the idea Charles & Marie instilled in all of them as far out as possible!

In 1990 Allesandro Agrati invented a new mode of fragrance diffusion. Consisting of a non-stop evaporation system, it uses fine steam-treated bamboo-root reed sticks placed in fragranced oil, enabling the constant and graduate emanation of the scent for up to three months. Beyond the extraordinary quality of the ingredients – only the purest and choicest of essences are used – the products stand out for the sheer delight Allesandro Agrati took in blending plants, flowers, citrus fruits and spices. L'ECLAIREURE

With experimentation and exploration, L'Eclaireur now brings you their exclusive line of candles. These candles are the essence of L'Eclaireur, with their moody, dark and simple design. The large numbers printed upon each candle, match the addresses of their Parisian boutiques. 07 for rue Hérold / 10 for rue Boissy D'Anglas / 12 for rue Malher / 26 for Champs-Elysées / 40 for rue de Sévigné. Martine and Armand Hadida, founders of L'Eclaireur, have delighted our senses for years. From tasting, seeing and touching, they've succeeded to stimulate each of these with ease. But when they decided to tackle smell with their latest project, a foray into the world of perfume, they sought out Christian Astuguevieille as their Creative Director to use his expertise to conjure up scents that would exceed our very notions of smell. With an unexpected selection of aromas, these candles have the ability to recall a simple childhood memory or call upon even stronger emotions as well as play upon other senses. Astuguevieille uses ingredients such as Ink, Grass, Absinthe, Tangerine and more, to enchant you. They create illusions, which we savor. The smell of freshly cut grass on a warm spring day, a hint of licorice, the freshness of tangerine, reminiscent of when you're peeling one yourself, and the smell of dried ink on your hands after writing a letter are thoughts that come to mind.

Mobi Headphonies

Headphonies were designed by Eran Weinberg, a product designer who was fascinated by the designer vinyl industry. How such simple creative products create such emotional connections and enjoyment for everyone. Combining music, design and attitude, Mobi Headphonies are playful, portable 3" characters with built-in amplified speakers. Available in seven different, quirky characters, Headphonies work with any portable gaming device, MP3 players, most mobile devices, portable DVD players and computers. The little critters are turning lots of heads lately, and just earned the CES Innovations 2010 Design and Engineering Honoree Award in the Electronic Gaming Hardware category. They earned an Innovations Award during the 2010 International CES this month in Las Vegas. The Headphonies concept combines the designer vinyl style toy with the functionality of a portable speaker.

Simon und Renoldi

The Cashmere blankets of Simon und Renoldi are made in Italy. They are available in a wide range of colors and can be ordered on request in many other colors. The blanket measures 190cm x 140cm.

PIT GREEN

PIT GREEN started with a creative inspiration involving little sticks on the beach. Sitting at the bar, playing with wires from a cork stopper inspired the first model. Within a year of hard developing work the concept matured from an idea to the finished product. The micro golfer was developed by a creative team of designers from Germany and Switzerland. Within the scope of Designmai 2004 in Berlin PIT GREEN was selected to receive the special award of the Nike Play Award "Innovations in Sports Gear". Measuring in at about 12 cm he is definitely smaller than Tiger Woods, but concerning the power of impact, precision and tactical possibilities, he catches up to the pro golfer. Now at the tee stands PIT GREEN, the world's first playable Micro Golfer!

True Grace

ARCO is a British luxury fine candle manufacture founded in 1991 by husband and wife team Philippa Nolan and Roger Biles.
