EVA GRONBACH

The young designer, who since years is devoted to sustainability and the fair trade idea, consistently takes current topics into her intellectual and creative collections, inspiring to be lively discussed. For example, she presents her german jeans collection, showing originally used miners' work wear, which she converted into modern design: Rough fabrics, being worn for years by the miners while underground mining, is contrasted with delicate silk fabrics and noble colours like a tender rose, nude and dark red or accompanied by luxurious cashmere vestures. Her collection, created in parallel for men as well as for women, concentrates on neoclassic lines. By matching her minimalistic and reduced style, she creates a look, whose elements like high quality manufacturing and artisan work or elaborated details are tribute to up-to-dateness.

Giorgio Brato

Giorgio Brato, the Italian designer was born in Bologna in 1967; his family has always been involved in the prodiction of leather garements. In 2001 he had the winning idea of fusing the luxury of leather with the fashion style to create a collection of high quality dyed leather garments. Reserach and the techniques of craftmanship workings enabled the aspect of the designer`s production endows the collection with a refined look and a lived-in feel. Each garment is unique and is distinguished by its original lines and shapes - shapes which, when combined with special washing techniques create jackets and bags with an individual look. Today Giorgio Brato is recognised as a brand of international renown. The production process for his garments remains linked to the tradition of craftsmanship preserving the quality and style which single out the true "Made in Italy". Notwithstanding the fact that the brand may appear small compared to other well-known and historically established brands Giorgio Brato has successfully promoted his brand in the most demanding circles of the fashion system thanks to a simple and direct message: the emotion felt when wearing his clothes.

Goldsign

GOLDSIGN Jeans are an individual collection born from 35 years of experience in the denim industry. Adriano Goldschmied has created a distinct debut collection that offers technical expertise as well as directional design with impeccable quality and fit. Redefining denim, revolutionary hand wash techniques are used to give jeans an aged feeling as though they have been passed down for generations. Each pair is unique making them truly covetable. Worn seams are hand stitched together creating a semi couture feel and giving fragility to the jeans. Varying tones are achieved through careful wash processes, which range from classic blue denim to faded denim. Additionally, there is the introduction of a new indigo known as 'Edge'designed by Goldschmied and exclusive to GOLDSIGN. Unlike other denim labels, GOLDSIGN has their own factories in LA, ensuring that every point of conception is carefully overseen. GOLDSIGN sees the introduction of the world's first superfine denim which is woven with Pima cotton ensuring the most luxurious denim experience.

ODEEH

It all started in a Hong Kong Hotel in November 2008. A women passed by in an extravagant coat. Otto commented that the coat would look stunning in Jersey, realising further that almost everything looked better in Jersey. Jörg responded by suggesting they do a Jersey-collection. And in a split second a decision was made. Neither had craved a collection, but the time was now right for them to make one. Half a year later, in July 2009, Otto Drögsler (right) and Jörg Ehrlich (left) showed their first ODEEH Collection Spring/Summer 2010 during the Berlin Fashion Week. ODEEH is the designers Otto Drögsler and Jörg Ehrlich. Otto, from Austria, studied fashion in Vienna and was part of the Master Class from Karl Lagerfeld and Jil Sander. He´s the artist; the creative side. Jörg, was trained as a bespoke tailor, after studying fashion design in Niederrhein. He´s the craftsman, with strength in conception and marketing. Both bring with them an extended knowledge and experience in fashion, having worked from designers to creative directors at some of the world´s most successful fashion houses.

PAUL SMITH BLACK

PAUL SMITH BLACK takes its inspiration from the romance of the 1940's. Tailoring is sharp and modern including desirable, unique prints and colours synonymous to Paul Smith. Floaty shapes include soft pretty dresses and tops. Prints and plain keeping the spirit of the 40's tea dress. Prints come from countryside flowers with a strong 40's influence. A selection of floral and Bengal striped shirts are new for the season in a variety of pretty colours. These reflect the essence of Paul Smith and have a contemporary season less feel.

Paul & Joe Sister

The fashion is cheerful, glamorous and cool. Paul & Joe Sister is a brand, which could be from London. It's heritage is yet in France. It's designer and founder Sophie Albou has named the label after her 2 sons. She designs young fashion, sporty, yet chique.

Penkov

K Karl Lagerfeld

Karl Lagerfeld as a Fashion-/ Denim Brand created K Karl Lagerfeld in 2007. His sketches present high end Jeans and T-Shirts mixed in with modern Trench coats and Knitwear. Slender silhouettes combined with the perfect fit are typical style criteria for his line.

FIRMA

Young German Designers stand for individual and self-confident Design – and their heritage. This is the reason why the brand by Daniela Biesenbach and Carl Tillessen carries a German name: Firma (firm). The label started in 1997 as a luxurious brand for men and added a women’s wear label in 2006. The collection is minimalistic and plain without loosing its sensuality.

Scherer González

Berlin Design Duo Scherer González has been working successfully on their vision, that couture and German fashion do not have to contradict one another since 2005. The Spring/Summer 2009 collection has not only enthused Eva Longoria.The american actress presented in August in LA the yearly ALMA Awards in Scherer González. The creative and morbid charme of Germany's capital inspired the designers to put together a collection of unpredicted contrast. Urban architecture combined with contemporary elements of art and rebellion are a role model for glamorous and progressive ensembles. Studios in Berlin and Brandeburg are producing with highest standards. At the same time the designers get assistance through the in-house tailoring. In this studio all the couture gowns are being produces that Scherer González create each season. These magical and opulent gowns play an important role in the future of Scherer and González.

Macqua

The fashion of German Designer Meike Vollmar is excitingly clean. All of her looks are draped on the mannequin. For the fall collection she worked with a Japanese sculptor - Macqua combines art and fashion with great sensitivity.

Essentiels by Set is a comfortable and easy knitwear label of the Oui- Group, Munich, that completes its rather simple and clean line with these more decorative pieces. This line consists of rather feminine knits of fine yarns in cotton and linnen qualities. The palette ranges from simple jerseys to light volant dresses to heavier knitwear coats.
