Feeling there was a gap for edgy babywear, a small range of T-shirt samples were produced by Deborah Medhurst. The designer set about driving across London showing these to her wish list of credible stores. The response was phenomenal.
Now into the eight year no added sugar has grown from a small baby range to an extensive luxurious range. Great pride is taken in offering original designs, made to a very high standard in Portugal, and in producing own quality fabrics. The designer is constantly striving to improve on all that she does both in products and service.
Rock Star Baby
Tico Torres has been with Bon Jovi from the beginning. He is a respected artist not only as a musician, drummer - but also in the art world of painting & sculpture. His profession has taken him all over the world, attending many events & fashion shows of all kinds. He noticed all the hip parents but the kids all looked the same - nothing new. He felt that something was missing - something different. Later on, the rest of the Band members were having kids themselves, the subject started many discussions. The usual baby pastel colours - it is not something that everybody wants and so.... Rock Star Baby was born.
With good quality, timeless cuts in mind, a collection was created. A product that like the Band, the Arts can out last fashion - still remaining very cool. Initially using the true colours of Rock - black & white with shades of grey in between - designs were created for cool kids. As Tico says "Every baby is considered a Star".
Volltreffer Babies & Kidswear
May-Doren Rathgen was only looking for a present for her niece and nephew in 2002 when she created the first protos for the Volltreffer-Collection. The mix of sporty design, sweet yet cool prints and loving details such as satin bows and functional, comfortable cuts makes not only friends and family go crazy about the collection. The collection consists of 100% organic cotton bodies, shirts, sweats, jackets, pants and little dresses and tops with cute prints. All products are handmade.
